Sorry, corona ruined your birthday

What could be a better birthday cake topper than that? 

Thanks to my husband’s 3D printer (or his ‘fourth wife’, as I like to call it jokingly- after his scooter, a big bike and myself), we had this funny sign to put on a friend’s birthday cake a few months ago. He instantly exploded with laughter. 

Today is my turn, my second birthday during pandemic. 

As you can imagine, it didn’t go so much differently like my first one last year. In Spring 2020, Switzerland was just starting the quarantine, social distancing and home office. It was clearly not the time and mood for to celebrate anything, which didn’t bother me at all as I’ve never been  big party person anyway. After spending the whole afternoon working on my video editing project, I had a quiet but delicious Lebanese Mezze takeaway with my husband and my mother-in-law. So, no, in that sense, I can say that corona didn’t ruin anything, actually.
